Sorry:/ I haven't blogged in forever so let's catch up. Nothing. Friends. Food. Dance. Sleep. Summer. That's pretty much it. I'm friends with Sophie again. Marisa's gone. 7th grade. 1 year old bro. Ya that's it I guess. Ya. Babye!

St. George

Today we woke up and decided to go St. George and do a short trip. We are leaving tomorrow back home. We went to most of the places we went for girls camp. It was quite fun. We went to the pizza factory for dindin. 😂 Marisa sent Blake a lovie face and I was so mad. Devin got his mission call. The weird peeps under us complained TWICE!!!

4th of July!!!

Today was Fourth of July!!! 🇺🇸 It was a blast!!! First we went to Kylie's dance completion and then went home and chillaxed. After we ate dinner with grandma and grandpa and had Lucille's and apple pie with vanilla ice cream. After we had a huge water balloon fight outside with the Pattersons and the Kelly's. then we shot off our fireworks!! It was a great night. I'm going to bed a little later than usual (It's 10:58 right now) but its all good. And today I found out some .G.R.E.A.T. news. PARIS AND CHLOE ARE STAYING WITH US FOR 2 DAYS AND 1 NIGHT!!!! 😱😱😱😱

A day with Paris

Today was an all day day with Paris. First we won't to dance with Kim and we rocked it!!! After we went to the rec center and swam for about 3 hours. Then we went to her house and hung out. After we went to my house and did make up (I failed) and the did a funny fashion show. It was super fun!!!

 So today we hung out with Jillian, Kylie, Savannah, Aunt Jen, Donna, and Dickie. We first met up here and talked, and then went to my grandparents to swim. We had a lot of fun and afterwords we went to Beach Bums. I got lemon-line with Warhead spray and it was so sour it was disgusting!!! 😕 So ya. After we l changed and went to dinner at the food court (I got Subway) and took off to the movies. We watched Despicable Me 2. It was good. More romance then action but its OK. Marisa's on a "triple date" with Genevieve and Devin watching the same thing. 💏 = her and Devin 😂😂😂

First day of young women's

Today was my first REAL day of YW.  It was a blast!! For Sunday school with Aubrey, Susanna, McKenzie, Alyssa, Kaycie, Lauren, and sister Stewart was our Sunday school teacher. 3rd hour was we watched 3 episodes if "Light" related stuff. Bishop Morris conducted and Brother Wagstaff helped. It was combined with the young men as well and we found the perfect date for Marisa. Devin Weaver. Marisa Weaver. It's so perfect!!! The sister missionaries came over for dinner and we had chicken and ritz casserole and/or cheesy pasta. We had mini cakes and I've cream for dessert. Sister Crowe and ( I forgot the other ones name:)) came over. It was a fun night, but after Marisa, Cara, and I played sardines in the dark and not was super fun.

Officially 12

Well, I am officially 12!!! At 12:02 A.M. I was born into this world in Amarillo, Texas. Named Sydney Lynn Matthews, and parents are Tamara Lynn Helwig Matthews, and Ryan Keith Matthews. I now can go to Young Womens, wear makeup, all that fun stuff:)

UDA Dance Camp 2013

I have returned from UDA Dance Camp 2013 today! It was at the Hilton at Lake Las Vegas. It was 2 1/2 plus 1 1/2 days of competition. I didn't make the first one but I go the best scores on the 2 and 3 one. It was really fun. Our team this year is Stephanie Newman, Olivia Wittwer, Sophie Shipp, Carolina Quinonez, Hailee Gornicheck, and I.

Girls Camp

   Girls Camp was so amazing!
Day 1
Day 1 we got in bishops car with McKenzie, Lauren, and Susanna and traveled 2 1/2 hours to St. George. The reason it took so long was because Sister Penman's tire broke and they had to replace it. When we finally arrived in St. George we went and sang to the nursing home and then walked in to an incredible, gorgeous vacation home. One story with a basement, a pool, and a basketball court.  I slept in the den downstairs with Susanna Morris, McKenzie Peck, Alyssa Smith and Lauren Fairchild. We swam all day and had hamburgers and beans for dinner.

Day 2
Day 2 we went on a hike in the narrows at Zion. It was so gorgeous. So we had egg sandwiches for breakfast and then we packed lunches for the hike. We hiked about 5-6 miles. We hiked in the virgin river and it was so gorgeous! I loved it! It was one of the prettiest things I have ever seen.  We finally got home and we had chicken stuffing casserole and buns.

Day 3
Day 3 we went on a treasure hunt for church history. First stop was the old courthouse. It was used in the 1800's and had old paintings. Stop 2 was the Tomas Judd Store and Brother Lathem bought us anything. I got Razzles, a candy that is candy at first and then turns into gum. Stop 3 was the Jacob Hamblin house. It was my favorite stop because it was so interesting. Stop 4 was the tabernacle. We just drove around it. Stop 4 was the Brigham Young house. It was OK. Stop 6 was the pioneers museum. I saw my great, great, great, great (?) grandpa Joseph Lazarus Matthews and his wife Amelia Matthews in pictures on the wall. Stop 6 was the Salt Lake Temple and we did baptisms for the dead. I couldn't because I'm not 12 yet, so Shelby, Jade, Sister Penmen, and I went to Cafe Rio and then the Iceberg for dessert. We watched 3 movies in the St. George visitors center. After, we went to Tuacahn and we had a backstage tour of the set and then we watched Mary Poppins. After (at 11:30 P.M.) we went to Denny's and got pancake puppies (strawberry and blueberry) and dipped it in frosting, and we also had OREO milkshakes. We went to bed about 3:30 A.M.

Day 4
Day 4 we woke up and packed our things. We had cereal for breakfast. We also had a testimony meeting. Finally, we packed the cars and the RV and headed back to Henderson, NV. I rode in the RV with Genevieve, Hanna, Susanna, Lauren, Lindsey, McKenzie, Alyssa, and Aubrey. (The RV fit a lot of people)

An exhausting day

   Today was an exausting day. First Sophie called me again, but this time bawling, and appoligizing. I almost started crying. After I went to Kim's. It is 11:00-12:30, during lunch. So I was starving. After I went to Paris' and we hung out. After we went to the Black Mountain reccenter and swam with Paris, Sophie, Susanna, and I. I just got home and am absolutely exausted!

The Mush Pot Day

   Today was a mush pot day. First we woke up and went swimming at my grandparents with Susanna, and it was the Burrup's last time seeing us. (They went swimming too) After we went swimming Susanna, Cameron, and I played Poptropica and Susanna and I painted our nails. Susanna went and we went to Carrabas for dinner. I got cheese ravioli and water.
   Sophie and I had a conversation because she has not been treating me right and she realized that so she called. She apologized and I talked. It was a good conversation. :)

Water Park Day. All the Way.

   Yesterday we went to the  water park for the Burupps goodbye and it was 112 degrees! I was dying out there! But is was fun. We had Ceasers Pizza and a Baskin Robins ice cream cake. It was delicious. After that I went and babysat for the Miller's for the first time. (Maddie and Brock) Brock is so darn cute!!! And they pay REALLY good! $10 for 30 minutes! I will definantly be going back there! Afterwords we (the Matthews and the Burupps[not the dads])walked a 2 mile walk :p to beach bums. I got lemon, lime, and sour spray. I do love that sour!
    The Burupps leave today! :'( I will miss them so much. They are moving to Dayton, Ohio. I love Lindsay, Olivia, Ada, and Ana. We all love them and hope to see them soon!

Summer is FINALLY Here!

   Yesterday was the last day of school and today is the first day of Summer! This Summer my goals are to: Eat normal, improve in dance, be me, and have fun!
     I want to have a Summer as close to Phineas and Ferb's as it can get. :) This Summer I am going to stay around the people that make me comfortable. I want to this to be and unforgettable summer. I am going to turn 12 on June 29th and I get to go to girls camp! I'm also going to dance camp for dance team and it's going to be so fun! I have competition practice every other week, and 2 competitions this Summer and lots of dance camps for Kim. (My competition teacher) These are my favorite things and I am going to see if I have the same favorite things at the end of the Summer. Favorite Color: Orange, Pink, Green. Artist: Justin Bieber, P!nk. Song: Just give me a Reason, Radioactive. Show: Arthur, Merlin, So You Think You Can Dance. Best Friends: Paris, Jackie, McKenzie.
